::Gerhard Beinhauer:: is a business associate at icircle. He is founder and managing partner of BBI, an investment and specialty-management boutique, based in Wehrheim, Germany. Gerhard held international (top) management positions in sectors such as agroproducts, healthcare, chemicals and technical consumer goods. His positions included logistics management at Toepfer International (Grain Trading) in Germany, France and Brazil; product and sales management at Degussa AG (Specialty Chemicals) in the USA; sales management at Lilly Medical Instruments (IVAC, CPI, Physio Control) in Germany. He was Country Manager of St. Jude Medical, a global leader in cardiovascular devices, based in Germany. As turnaround executive he held a board position at Progeo AG, a specialist in leakage detection sensors. Recently Gerhard acted as Owner´s Representative of a Switzerland-based Family Holding and led responsibly the Swiss-German technology venture “Turanor - Planetsolar”, the largest Solar Boat ever built. The 530m2 solar generator is scheduled to take the 30m - Catamaran on its 1st expedition once around the globe, solely powered by solar energy. The Boat departed on Sep 27, 2010 for its circumvention from Monaco. Gerhard is acting Chairman of the Board of KHD Wedag International AG, a leading German engineering firm for cement plants. He is Chairman of the Board of Omniwatt AG, a growing Duesseldorf-based renewable energy producer. He is member of the supervisory board of Web-Arts AG, a dedicated leading online-conversion-maximizer. Gerhard received his Bachelor Degree in Arts from Chicago State University in the USA, and his MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
